Megapoxy 132 is a solvent-free, high-strength epoxy coating for factory and warehouse floors, commercial kitchens and food or beverage production areas. It forms a smooth, high-gloss surface that resists abrasion and is easy to keep clean.

Protect and finish concrete floors

Use it on prepared concrete in warehouses, showrooms, forklift ramps and processing facilities. Choose Clear for a transparent gloss or N35 Grey for an opaque finish; compatible pigments can add colour. For a textured surface, broadcast fine aggregate between coats. Megapoxy 132 is approved to AS 4020:2018 for contact with potable water.

Megapoxy 132 or MC?

Choose 132 for a high-strength, high-gloss floor finish in Clear or N35 Grey. Megapoxy MC is a heavy-duty maintenance coating with more colour options and a longer two-hour working time, suited to industrial floors, walls and steelwork. For sealing porous concrete before an MC coating, Megapoxy LVS is the primer rather than the finished coating.

Before coating

Grind or mechanically prepare concrete, removing old coatings, laitance, oil and dust. Mix two parts A to one part B by volume and apply within approximately 30 minutes at 25°C. Allow at least 24 hours to cure at 25°C; lower temperatures require longer. Do not apply below 10°C.

Is Megapoxy 132 suitable for food-processing floors?
Yes. It is designed for food and beverage facilities, and the coating is AS 4020:2018 approved for contact with potable water.

Can Megapoxy 132 be made non-slip?
Yes. Broadcast fine aggregate between coats to create a textured surface. Without aggregate, Megapoxy 132 forms a smooth, high-gloss finish.

What is the difference between Megapoxy 132 and MC?
Megapoxy 132 is a high-strength, high-gloss coating in Clear or N35 Grey with a 30-minute working time. Megapoxy MC is a heavy-duty maintenance coating with more colour options and a two-hour working time.

How long does Megapoxy 132 take to cure?
Allow at least 24 hours at 25°C, or 48 hours at 15°C. A thin coat typically sets in 4–6 hours at 25°C before recoating.

High-gloss, solvent-free coating for factory, warehouse and food-production floors. Excellent abrasion resistance with an easy-clean surface. Clear or N35 Grey; broadcast fine aggregate between coats for a textured, non-slip finish. AS 4020:2018 approved for contact with potable water.
Remove old coatings, laitance, oil and dust, then mechanically prepare the concrete. Mix 2 parts A to 1 part B by volume until uniform. Apply by roller, brush, squeegee or airless spray; broadcast fine aggregate between coats for a textured finish. Allow about 4–6 hours for thin-film cure at 25°C before recoating and at least 24 hours of cure at 25°C.
Do not apply below 10°C. Remove existing paint and weak surface material before coating; bonding over old coatings reduces adhesion. Measure the 2:1 mix accurately and blend thoroughly. Lower temperatures extend curing time.

  • Commercial and industrial concrete surfaces.
  • Prepared metal surfaces.
  • Fibreglass and carbon-fibre laminating applications supported by the manufacturer.
