Sponges

Grout haze is cheaper to prevent than to remove. The Panther grout clean-up system pairs a stiff wash sponge with an absorbent finish sponge so one pass cleans the joint and the next pass wipes the tile. Epoxy grout needs its own dedicated sponge: the Raimondi epoxy formulation resists the resin that clogs ordinary cells.

Dampen the sponge, wring it nearly dry, then wipe in diagonal strokes across the joint. A soaked sponge drags grout back out of the line; a dry one smears haze across the face.
