Can I use sanitary sealant in a shower?
Yes. Sanitary sealants work in showers, bathrooms, and wet areas where mould resistance matters. They are not designed for permanent water immersion or submerged applications such as pools and spas. For those, use a purpose-made pool sealant.
Should I choose a gloss or matte finish for sanitary silicone?
Matte sanitary silicone (such as the Adheseal Matt Seal S-250 and S-350) blends with tiled surfaces and resists showing dirt marks. Gloss silicone gives a shiny finish suited to glass and polished fixtures. Both contain fungicide.
Is sanitary sealant safe for food preparation areas?
