A pre-formed polyurethane shower hob, 1200mm x 75mm x 50mm, that replaces the old timber-and-screed hob build. Light enough to carry one-handed, cut with a hand saw, and ready for waterproofing membrane straight after fixing.

Fix it to the slab, corner-seal it, and membrane over it. No rot, no swelling, no waiting for timber framing to be built level.

How To Apply  
Set out the hob and cut it to the required length with a suitable hand saw. Prepare the floor so it is sound, clean and ready for the specified fixing method. Fix the polyurethane hob securely and form clean joints at corners and adjoining sections. Detail the hob-to-floor and hob-to-wall junctions with the compatible waterproofing system. Apply the waterproofing membrane continuously over the hob and adjacent wet-area substrate before tiling.
Limitations and Safety Info  
Use as a shower-hob component, not as the waterproofing membrane itself. Fix the hob securely to the prepared substrate before waterproofing. Seal corners, junctions and penetrations with the compatible wet-area detailing system. Do not leave gaps beneath or between hob sections that could compromise the waterproofing build-up. Use the waterproofing membrane and adhesive system specified for the surrounding wet-area construction.
