What is crack injection?
A method that fills a crack in existing concrete with resin injected under pressure through ports fixed along the crack. Mountain Grout Flexible, Gel Foam and Ultra are the stocked injection resins. They stop water passage and restore integrity to the concrete.
How do I stop an active leak?
A rapid-set water plug sets in seconds to minutes and halts active water at the leak point. Gripset C-Plug and Mapei Lamposilex are the stocked options. Once the leak is stopped, a crack-injection resin or repair mortar completes the repair.
Is repair and injection part of new waterproofing?
No. These products are for remediation, where existing concrete has cracked or a membrane has failed. New waterproofing uses the membrane system. Match the product spec to the job conditions before you start.
What is the difference between positive and negative waterproofing?
