Frequently Asked Questions
What comes in the EverKrete trade kit?
Base resin and hardener pre-measured for one pour, so a two-part repair mixes correctly on site without scales. Catalyst and fumed silica are ordered separately.
How do I control the cure speed?
Accelerator shortens cure in cold weather or fast-turnaround patches. Standard catalyst ratio suits normal conditions. Small batches set faster than large ones. Bond a priming coat into the pores first so the patch keys onto sound concrete.
Can EverKrete be applied overhead?
Yes once thickened. Blend fumed silica until the mix holds on a trowel, then press it into overhead patches without formwork. Bond a priming coat into the pores first so the patch keys onto sound concrete.
How deep can one repair go?
Deep fills in lifts. Build past about 50 mm in successive layers so heat does not build and pull the patch away. Bond a priming coat into the pores first so the patch keys onto sound concrete.
Does the repair need sealing after?
On trafficable or wet areas, coat the cured patch with the same system or a compatible sealer so the edges do not wick water. Bond a priming coat into the pores first so the patch keys onto sound concrete.
