What sizes does the Lauxes Shower Pack 26 come in?
Each finish is sold as 1000 mm, 2000 mm or 3000 mm. The anodised aluminium channel can be cut on site to suit the opening, so order the length closest to your threshold.
Where does the fixed glass panel go?
The glass support sits inside the drainage line, and the channel runs the full width of the opening. Lauxes recommends a wall-to-wall layout for the best visual result, with the wider side of the support against the bottom tray edge.
Can water drain on both sides of the screen?
Drainage runs from the shower side and from the bathroom side into the same channel, so water that lands outside the screen still reaches the outlet. That is the purpose of the glass support in the Slimline Tile Insert 26 line.
When do I install the grate and support?
Fit both only after tiling and grouting are complete. The tile insert sections stay removable for cleaning when the channel is installed to the Lauxes cutting clearances.
Does the grate help seal the wet area?
No, Lauxes states the grate does not form part of the waterproofing system. Keep it out of wet cement and screed during the membrane work, and follow the Lauxes installation guide for the rest of the detail.
