Description  

Lauxes Grates STI Shower Pack 26 – Brushed Nickel is a shower-glass support accessory for the compatible Lauxes Slimline Tile Insert 26 linear drainage system. It helps create a clean fixed-glass shower threshold while allowing water to drain on both sides of the screen.

The 26mm anodised aluminium profile is designed for this specific tile-insert drainage system, rather than as a universal shower-glass channel. Select the required Brushed Nickel length from the 1000mm, 2000mm and 3000mm options.

Compatibility and installation

Confirm that the installation uses the compatible STI26 grate system and that the fixed shower glass, floor falls, waterproofing and outlet layout have been coordinated before ordering. Follow Lauxes' installation guidance, including the specified neutral-cure silicone and installation sequence. The shower pack does not replace a waterproofing membrane or a complete shower drainage system.

STI Shower Pack 26 is an anodised aluminium add-on for the Slimline Tile Insert 26 system that supports fixed shower glass while allowing drainage on both sides of the screen. The 3m profile accepts tile up to 11mm thick and uses a dedicated glass-support section within the drain assembly.
How To Apply  
Install wall to wall across the shower and bathroom threshold. Fix the bottom tray into the recess with neutral-cure silicone, position the glass support with its drain slots at the bottom and the wider side against the tray edge, then install the fixed glass after the assembly has cured. Fit tiles into the insert trays and seal the grate perimeter with grout-coloured neutral-cure silicone.
Limitations and Safety Info  
This is an add-on for Slimline Tile Insert 26, not a standalone drain. Install the grate and glass support only after tiling and grouting are complete, use neutral-cure silicone for all assembly and keep the grate out of wet cement or screed. The shower glass must not overhang the support because overhang can prevent removal of the tile inserts for cleaning.
Suitable Substrates  
Slimline Tile Insert 26 drain assemblies installed in tiled shower or bathroom floors over a separate waterproofing system. The glass-support section is designed for fixed shower glass.
