Frequently Asked Questions
Which Bostik sealant for expansion joints?
Seal N Flex FC or One P390. Both are polyurethanes rated for high joint movement on masonry, concrete, and facade panels. Tool the joint within the skin time so the bead reads clean and bonds wide.
What is Fireban One used for?
Fire-rated linear joint sealing. It intumesces in fire and carries tested ratings for rated walls and floors, with low-modulus movement in normal service.
Which primer before Bostik silicone?
N40 primer keys difficult or porous surfaces. On glass and most metals, 6S and V60 architectural silicones bond without primer. Tool the joint within the skin time so the bead reads clean and bonds wide.
What adhesive under parquetry?
Ultraset SF. Its full-surface bond and acoustic performance suit engineered and solid timber floors over concrete. Tool the joint within the skin time so the bead reads clean and bonds wide.
Is there a Bostik mastic for interior gaps?
Bostik 5615 mastic fills internal movement gaps ready for painting, where a silicone skin would stop paint gripping. Tool the joint within the skin time so the bead reads clean and bonds wide.
