Can I use these sealants outdoors?
Ductmate Proseal is an indoor and outdoor grade. Adheseal HV Duct also handles external work, but protect it from rain for up to three days after application while it cures.
How is a duct sealant different from a normal sealant?
Duct sealants are made for air handling. They stay flexible under pressure and vibration, and fire rated types carry published fire test data. General purpose sealants do not.
Do you stock foil duct tape?
We do not stock foil HVAC tape. Seal joints and seams with the sealants on this page. Our Kwikseal 550 PVC tape suits builders film and containment sheeting, not duct joints.
