A 300mm sponge for washing grout haze off tile and slate. The oversized face covers large-format work quickly, and the dense synthetic holds just enough water: wet enough to clean the joint, not so wet it washes the grout back out.
It resists shredding on abrasive and non-slip surfaces, so it will not leave sponge crumbs in the finish. 300 x 210 x 55mm, made in Germany.

Wait until the grout has firmed, then wipe in light circles with a well-wrung sponge and clean water. Rinse often. Final haze polishes off with a dry cloth once the joints have cured.
A wet sponge too early pulls grout out of the joints. Use light passes and clean water; do not flood fresh joints.
