For levelling differences from 1mm to 20mm on internal concrete and timber subfloors, True Level Flexi is a fibre-reinforced, flexible self-levelling compound. It creates a smooth, even surface with high mechanical resistance, designed to support subsequent installations of timber flooring, vinyl, carpet, linoleum, floating floors, or ceramic tiles, and is strong enough to withstand wheelchair traffic and underfloor heating loads.
How it works
True Level Flexi combines rapid drying chemistry with fibre reinforcement to provide enhanced flexibility over structural subfloors. It flows easily to self-level and develops a high surface hardness of over 45 N/mm² after 28 days. This mechanical strength prevents the levelling layer from crushing under heavy point loads or rolling traffic, while the built-in flexibility helps the cured compound absorb the differential movement common in timber substrates and heated subfloor installations without cracking or losing bond strength.

Where to use it
True Level Flexi is formulated for interior applications on both porous and non-porous subfloors, including:
- Solid timber flooring, structural timber, and Particle Board Flooring.
- New and existing concrete, including Burnished Concrete.
- Existing ceramic tiles.
- Liquid Waterproofing membranes.
- Substrates incorporating underfloor heating systems.
Limitations
- For internal use only.
- Do not apply on substrates subject to rising damp.
- Do not apply over expansion joints, as reflective cracking may occur through the levelling layer.
- Do not allow the product to come in contact with water during or after the curing process.
- Do not mix by hand; mechanical mixing with a drill and paddle is required.
- Do not overwater during mixing, as excess water causes bleeding, component separation, and a reduction in bond and tensile strength.
- Do not use solvents or acid etching to clean the subfloor.
- Do not install if subfloor temperatures are below 10°C, and contact the manufacturer if temperatures are below 5°C or above 35°C.
Substrate preparation and priming
Subfloors must be dry, clean, sound, and free of wax, grease, oil, old adhesives, curing compounds, and high moisture levels. All loose material must be vacuumed. Resin, sealers, and wax coatings on timber and Particle Board Flooring must be removed by mechanical means prior to priming.
For substrates with high moisture levels, apply RLA Moisture Seal prior to installing the levelling compound.
Prime all prepared surfaces with RLA Universal Primer according to the substrate type:

Porous Substrates: Mix primer 1:2 with clean water. Apply an even coat. Highly absorbent surfaces may require a second coat to prevent pinholes in the levelling layer.

Timber and Particle Board Flooring: Apply RLA Universal Primer undiluted (neat).

Non-Porous Substrates (Burnished Concrete, Ceramic Tiles, Liquid Waterproofing membranes): Ensure tiles or concrete have no coatings or sealers, then apply primer undiluted (neat). For extremely non-porous surfaces, conduct a light grind or sand to assist adhesion.
