Lauxes Grates Standard Floor Grate – Brushed Nickel is a narrow 70mm wide, 23mm deep anodised aluminium linear drain for suitable bathrooms, balconies and renovation drainage runs. Its compact width makes it a useful alternative where the design calls for a narrower channel than the 100mm-wide Lauxes profiles.

The grate can be cut to the required length on site. Choose a compatible 40mm or 50mm waste outlet and confirm floor falls, waterproofing and the available channel depth before installation. The Brushed Nickel finish provides the visible architectural detail without changing the profile dimensions.

Before ordering

Confirm the listed Adheseal selling length and required outlet size. The 70mm Standard Floor Grate does not accept 72mm or 80mm outlets. Follow Lauxes' installation and care guidance to protect the anodised finish.

How To Apply

Form the recess with a template 10 to 20mm wider than the grate, cut the channel to length, drill the waste opening to align with the drain pipe and fit the outlet and end caps with neutral-cure silicone. Install the grate level as the final flooring step.
Limitations and Safety Info  
The grate does not form part of the waterproofing system and must not contact wet cement or screed. The 70mm Standard Floor Grate is specified for 40mm and 50mm waste outlets, not 72mm or 80mm outlets. Install after waterproofing, tiling and grouting with neutral-cure silicone.
Suitable Substrates  
Tiled floor systems over concrete or screed with a separate waterproofing membrane; fibre-cement sheet floor systems; waterproofing foam-board systems. The grate sits in the prepared recess and is fixed with neutral-cure silicone.
