A stainless caulking blade for tooling joints to width: 6mm to 40mm profiles, matched to the joint so the bead comes out square, full, and even. The wooden handle gives steady pressure without the blade twisting in your grip.
Stainless washes clean in solvent, so today's silicone does not ruin tomorrow's acrylic.
Blade profile matched to joint width gives a square, full bead.
Stainless blade washes clean in solvent and will not rust.
Wooden handle holds steady pressure without twisting.
Lay the bead slightly proud, then draw the blade along the joint in one pass with even pressure. Wipe the blade between passes; cured crumbs in the profile are what drag lines into the bead.
One profile per blade: pick the size that matches the joint. Too wide a blade on a narrow joint feathers the edges thin.
