Choose the right blade for the joint

Select the blade width to suit the required joint profile. Use a narrower blade on smaller joints or choose a wider profile when finishing larger construction-sealant beads. The stainless-steel tooling edge and wooden handle give controlled contact along the bead.

For a smoother finish

Tool the sealant before skin formation and wipe the blade between passes. Keep the edge free of cured residue so it glides smoothly without pulling or marking the bead.

How To Apply  
Lay the bead slightly proud, then draw the blade along the joint in one pass with even pressure. Wipe the blade between passes; cured crumbs in the profile are what drag lines into the bead.
Limitations and Safety Info  
One profile per blade: pick the size that matches the joint. Too wide a blade on a narrow joint feathers the edges thin.
