Rapid tile installations need an adhesive that delivers early strength without sacrificing the flexibility required by the specified tiling system. SikaTile®-440 Opti-Cure is a rapid-setting, flexible cement-based tile and stone adhesive for approved internal and external wall and floor applications.
For porcelain, large-format tiles and selected stone
Its smooth, non-slump consistency suits suitable porcelain and ceramic installations, including large-format work. Selected natural stone, mosaics and engineered materials require compatibility checks. Sika's DUST LESS® technology also reduces airborne dust during mixing, helping make bag handling more manageable on site.
When turnaround matters
Under Sika's stated conditions, grouting and light foot traffic may be possible after approximately two to three hours. The product is classified C2TFS1 to AS ISO 13007 and supplied in 20 kg bags. Confirm substrate preparation, waterproofing compatibility, stone sensitivity and actual cure time using the current technical data sheet; rapid set is not a substitute for correct system design.
