Description  

Appliance sealing often calls for a flexible gasket material rather than an ordinary bathroom silicone. SikaSeal® Appliance Sealant is a one-component RTV silicone rubber for suitable appliance joints, flexible gasketing and gap filling where temperature variation and vibration matter.

For appliance gaskets and sealing details

Its cured rubber remains flexible around appropriately prepared appliance components, including selected fridge, freezer, oven and pizza-oven sealing applications. The published service temperature range is -50°C to +250°C, subject to the actual installation conditions and Sika's guidance.

Before replacing a gasket

Remove the previous gasket material and clean away residues before application. Confirm the specific appliance manufacturer's requirements and material compatibility; a temperature rating alone does not establish suitability for every oven component or food-contact application. Follow the current Sika product instructions for application and curing.
