Adjust concrete workability and water reduction without using an admixture whose purpose is to accelerate or retard setting. SikaPlast® 3-in-1 is a neutral-set liquid water reducer based on modified polycarboxylates. A single product can function as a normal, mid-range or high-range water reducer depending on the dosage and mix design.
One admixture for different concrete production requirements
Designed for premix, precast and selected post-tensioned concrete, SikaPlast 3-in-1 gives producers flexibility to respond to different consistency and water-reduction targets. Compatible accelerators or retarders can be selected separately to manage the required setting time.
Choose the appropriate water-reduction range
- Normal water reduction: 400–600 mL per 100 kg cementitious material.
- Mid-range: 600–900 mL per 100 kg.
- High-range: 900–2,000 mL per 100 kg.
These are indicative ranges only. Establish the correct rate through concrete trials and introduce the admixture with batching water, not dry ingredients. Do not use in combination with Sikament® NN. Add other admixtures separately and check air entrainment where air-entraining products are used.
