Polyester Reinforcing Fabric – Easy Fold is a flexible, non-woven polyester strip for forming neat, reinforced corners and junctions in compatible liquid-applied waterproofing membranes. Its fold-friendly construction helps installers seat reinforcement into a change of plane without excessive bunching.
Choose Easy Fold for straight internal and external corners or other details where a controlled crease is helpful. On rough, curved or irregular surfaces, Easy Form may be easier to dress into the wet membrane.
Where to use it
- Shower wall-to-floor corners: reinforcing specified junctions in compatible wet-area membrane systems.
- Balcony perimeter details: laying reinforcement along suitable straight edge transitions.
- Wall and floor junctions: forming a continuous, well-fitted strip within appropriate membrane detailing.
- Changes in substrate direction: reducing fabric bunching at compatible folded waterproofing details.
Installation
The listed roll is 150mm × 100m. Apply the membrane base coat, embed the fabric while wet, smooth out air pockets and cover fully with the additional coats required for the system's finished film build.
Easy Fold is reinforcement, not waterproofing on its own. It does not replace specified bond breakers, joint tape, substrate repairs or required movement-joint detailing. Use only with a compatible membrane system.
