Mapei UC Leveller is a fast-hardening cementitious levelling and smoothing compound for correcting uneven internal floors before suitable coverings are installed. Designed for application in layers from 3 to 70 mm under specified conditions, it is especially useful for larger floor areas that benefit from pumping rather than manually patching isolated low spots.
Use UC Leveller over compatible prepared concrete, cementitious screeds and approved existing substrates to produce an even base for subsequent floor finishes. Its flow properties help installers tackle changes in floor level while producing a smooth, continuous surface. It is a floor-preparation product, not a decorative final wearing surface.
UC Leveller is used to smooth and correct a prepared floor before covering. Mapecem Pronto is a rapid screed mortar used to construct a screed layer; it is not an equivalent self-levelling topping. Choose based on the build-up, required thickness and subsequent finish.
A commercial floor may look nearly level until a straightedge reveals dips and transitions that would telegraph through carpet tiles or other finishes. UC Leveller helps create a smoother, more consistent internal base before those finishes are installed. Its specified 3–70 mm application range also makes it relevant when the correction is too substantial for a skim coat.
On larger projects, pump application helps maintain a continuous pour and improves productivity. Mapei also identifies suitable areas exposed to heavy loads and traffic, including approved floors beneath carpet, tile, stone and floating timber. This is a useful product for getting the subfloor ready, but not a shortcut around moisture testing, sound substrate preparation or the correct primer. Do not use in internal wet areas, externally or on rising-damp substrates.
Surface strength, priming, moisture condition and depth must match the current system requirements. Do not assume a single covering time applies to all thicknesses or floor finishes. Intended for suitable internal applications.
