What can I bond with these products?
These adhesives bond natural stone, concrete, brick, tile, ceramic, metal fixtures and structural anchors. Epoxy grades handle most structural and stone work. Cementitious grades suit tile and masonry. Pick by substrate, load, movement, moisture and cure time.
Why are there so many Megapoxy grades?
Each Megapoxy grade has a different viscosity, sag resistance, cure behaviour and colour. Some are non-sag pastes for vertical or overhead work. Some are thin materials for cracks. Others are translucent for visible stone joints. Check the product data before you choose.
Is there a cementitious tile adhesive in this collection?
Yes. Mapei Keraflex Maxi S1 bonds natural stone and large-format tile. It also appears in the Tiling collection because one product can serve more than one trade. Its product type is Adhesive. The two placements only show where you use it.
How do I prepare a stone surface before bonding?
Clean the surface, remove contamination, control moisture and create a sound bond surface. Some substrates need priming. Follow the product instructions for stone, concrete, masonry, metal and ceramic. Do not rely on a generic rule.
Can I use these for visible stone joints?
Yes. Megapoxy 63 gives a translucent adhesive line for visible natural-stone work. Megapoxy 254 is non-staining on natural stone and ceramics. Megapoxy Pigment Paste is available for colour matching later in the job. Check colour, staining, substrate compatibility and cure conditions first.
