Everbond Ultra Clear Brush Contact is a clear-drying contact adhesive for upholstery, trim and fabrications where a visible glue line would spoil the finished appearance. The brushable polychloroprene adhesive provides fast initial grip after flash-off, making it useful for carefully positioned foam, fabric, neoprene and decorative assemblies.
Unlike standard coloured contact adhesives, Ultra Clear is selected primarily for its discreet finished bond line. It is especially relevant to neoprene drink coolers, interior upholstery and edging profiles where appearance is as important as immediate contact strength.
Apply a thin, even film to both prepared faces. Allow solvent to flash off until touch dry before firmly joining the materials. Avoid adhesive pools, as trapped solvent can blister a bond or compromise its strength. Apply at suitable temperatures, generally 10°C to 35°C, with ventilation and solvent safety precautions.
For large-scale spray application, consider SP-230; for conventional laminate and general trim bonding, Brush Contact may be more suitable. Test delicate fabrics and open-weave materials for bleed-through. Heat-resistant two-part systems require compatibility testing rather than assuming a stated service temperature applies to every adhesive combination.
