Everbond SP-230 Spray Contact is a premium sprayable contact adhesive that has been formulated to meet varied needs for laminate & foam fabrication industry. This adhesive has fast initial grab & drying time, and a very high heat resistant and water resistant bond.

Product Characteristics:

  • Colour: Natural, Red
  • Size: 20 Litre

Uses

  • Bonding laminates in cabinet making and shop-fitting applications
  • Motor and marine trimming applications
  • Bonding surfaces such as timber, MDF and particleboard, metal, urethane foam, cloth-backed and polyester backed vinyl, leather, carpet and polyurethane foam in motor trimming applications

Benefits

  • One-component adhesive
  • Very short flash-off time
  • High initial strength
  • Easy to apply
  • Resistant against aging
  • High heat resistance
  • Broad adhesion range
  • Fast dry time (Approximately 3-5 minutes)

Application

  1. The adhesive generally is applied with suitable rollcoater, tooth-comb, brush, or spray gun.
  2. Apply to both surfaces evenly.
  3. Wait until touch dry (normally 3-5min) depending on drying conditions, then bring the materials together with strong even pressure.
  4. Care must be taken to avoid the formation of adhesive pools on the bonding surfaces. Entrapped solvent causes weak bond & blistering.
  5. For application on open weave or porous materials, spray apply the adhesive to avoid the adhesive bleeding through the substrate.
  6. Once the container is opened, the material must be used up in a short time.
