Closed cell polyethylene for moisture resistance, open cell polyurethane for breathable cure, bitumen-impregnated foam for immediate weather-tight sealing, and fire-rated backing for certified smoke barriers.

Round and square profiles in multiple diameters, plus a high-density rigid joint filler for trafficable joints under heavy point loads. Match the backing rod to the joint profile, sealant type and exposure — wrong depth or compression and you're looking at three-sided adhesion, gassing or sealant failure down the track.
