Roof and gutter joints are exposed to movement, rain and changing temperatures. SikaSeal® Roof & Gutter is a neutral-curing silicone sealant for approved roof sheeting, gutters, penetrations and other exterior construction joints where a durable, flexible waterproof seal is required.
Seal roof details and gutter connections
Its non-sag consistency helps with tooling around suitable metal and polycarbonate roofing details. It also adheres to a range of approved building substrates, making it useful for maintenance and new installation work where the substrate and joint design are compatible.
Material compatibility comes first
Not every metal or coating is suitable; copper and some critical glazed or coated surfaces require particular attention. Sika specifies pretreatment for certain substrates and primers for some porous materials. For sanitary joints around bathrooms and splashbacks, use a purpose-positioned product such as SikaSeal Kitchen and Bathroom. Refer to the current product data sheet before installation.
