Structural epoxy bonding and concrete edge repairs demand an adhesive that stays where it is applied. Sikadur®-31 CF Normal is Sika’s two-component, moisture-tolerant epoxy adhesive and repair mortar for rigid bonding, patching and filling on suitable construction substrates. Its thick, non-sag consistency makes it especially useful on vertical faces and overhead repairs where a flowing epoxy would be difficult to control.
For bonding, patching and edge repairs
Use Sikadur-31 CF Normal to bond suitable concrete, masonry, natural stone, ceramics, steel and other approved materials, or to rebuild damaged corners, edges and localised voids. It is also suited to specified joint and crack-edge repairs. Unlike a flexible joint sealant, this is a rigid, high-strength epoxy system intended for structural bonding and repair applications.
What makes it practical on site?
The thixotropic mix holds its shape during vertical and overhead work, while its moisture tolerance and strong adhesion provide flexibility when preparing appropriate construction substrates. Sika supplies pre-batched Part A and Part B kits in 6 kg and 30 kg sizes, with contrasting component colours to help confirm thorough mixing.
Choosing the right epoxy system
Sikadur-31 CF Normal is intended for professional use within Sika’s stated application temperature range of 10–30°C. Substrate preparation, mixing, layer thickness and curing conditions remain important to performance.
