Lauxes Grates Standard Floor Grate – Silver is a narrow 70mm wide, 23mm deep anodised aluminium linear drain for suitable bathrooms, balconies and renovation drainage runs. Its compact width makes it a useful alternative where the design calls for a narrower channel than the 100mm-wide Lauxes profiles.
The grate can be cut to the required length on site. Choose a compatible 40mm or 50mm waste outlet and confirm floor falls, waterproofing and the available channel depth before installation. The Silver finish provides the visible architectural detail without changing the profile dimensions.
Before ordering
Confirm the listed Adheseal selling length and required outlet size. The 70mm Standard Floor Grate does not accept 72mm or 80mm outlets. Follow Lauxes' installation and care guidance to protect the anodised finish.
Which waste outlets suit the Standard Floor Grate?
Lauxes specifies 40mm and 50mm outlets for the 70mm-wide profile.
Can the Standard Floor Grate be cut to length onsite?
Yes. Lauxes states its grates can be cut, joined and adjusted onsite.
Does the grate need fall built into it?
No. The floor must be graded toward the drain; the grate itself does not require built-in fall.
Can it be used outdoors?
Yes. The 2026 catalogue specifies indoor and outdoor use.
