Lauxes Grates Standard Floor Grate – Brushed Nickel is the original compact Lauxes linear drain profile. At 70mm wide and 23mm deep, it is well suited to renovations, retrofits, bathrooms, balconies and other indoor or outdoor drainage areas.

The slotted anodised aluminium grate can be cut to length on site and uses 40mm or 50mm waste outlet options. The Brushed Nickel finish provides a clean architectural look while retaining the durability of the anodised aluminium system.

How To Apply  
Use the Standard Floor Grate for indoor or outdoor floor drainage, particularly renovations and retrofit work where the 70mm profile suits the available space. Form the recess with a template 10 to 20mm wider than the grate, cut the channel to length, drill the waste opening to align with the drain pipe and fit the outlet and end caps with neutral-cure silicone. Install the grate level as the final flooring step.
Limitations and Safety Info  
The grate does not form part of the waterproofing system and must not contact wet cement or screed. The 70mm Standard Floor Grate is specified for 40mm and 50mm waste outlets, not 72mm or 80mm outlets. Install after waterproofing, tiling and grouting with neutral-cure silicone.
Suitable Substrates  
Tiled floor systems over concrete or screed with a separate waterproofing membrane; fibre-cement sheet floor systems; waterproofing foam-board systems. The grate sits in the prepared recess and is fixed with neutral-cure silicone.
