Lauxes Grates Tile Insert Plus 35 – Brushed Nickel is a 100mm wide, 35mm deep anodised aluminium tile-insert linear drain for indoor and outdoor tiled drainage. It is designed for tiles and stone finishes up to 20mm thick and supports 40mm, 50mm, 72mm and 80mm waste outlets.

Lauxes manufactures TIP35 Brushed Nickel in 3000mm and 5600mm full lengths. Adheseal currently offers a 1000mm length. The channel can be cut on site to suit the finished installation and the waste outlet positioned to suit the plumbing layout.

How To Apply  
Use TIP 35 for outdoor tiled drainage where a 35mm-deep tile-insert profile is required for thicker finishes. Form the recess with a template 10 to 20mm wider than the grate, cut the channel to length, drill the outlet position to align with the waste pipe and fit the outlet and end caps with neutral-cure silicone. Install the grate level as the final flooring step, then place the tiled insert.
Limitations and Safety Info  
Do not use tile or stone thicker than 20mm. The grate does not form part of the waterproofing system and must not contact wet cement or screed. TIP 35 is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
Suitable Substrates  
Tiled floor systems over concrete or screed with a separate waterproofing membrane; fibre-cement sheet floor systems; waterproofing foam-board systems. The grate sits in the prepared recess and is fixed with neutral-cure silicone.
