Installing Lauxes Slimline Tile Insert 21 – Gold
- Complete the waterproofing, tiling and grouting before installing the grate. The grate does not form part of the waterproofing system.
- Use a template or spacer to form the provision during screeding or concreting. Do not allow the grate to contact wet cement or screed.
- Measure and cut the grate to the required finished length, then drill the waste opening at the required position using a suitable Lauxes hole saw.
- Fit the waste outlet and end caps using neutral-cure silicone.
- Install the grate as the final flooring step using neutral-cure silicone, ensure it is level and clean any building material from the anodised surface before it dries.
