- Tray preparation: Cut the bottom tray 3 mm shorter than the final installation length to allow clearance for the end caps. Use a compound mitre saw fitted with a multi-material cutting blade (80 teeth or more).
- Grate preparation: Cut the top grate 1 mm shorter than the bottom tray to ensure an easy roll-in fit and clean visual finish.
- Outlet preparation: Use a Lauxes TCT hole saw to drill out the waste hole in the bottom tray, aligning it with the subfloor waste pipe. Secure the pop waste to the underside of the tray with silicone.
- End caps: Insert the end caps into the bottom tray and secure by applying a bead of silicone to the outside of the joint.
- Plumbing compliance: Installation must be completed by a licensed plumber in accordance with AS/NZS 3500.2. All grates and accessories hold WaterMark Certification under WMTS - 040.
