Thin End Caps finish the open ends of compatible Lauxes linear grate profiles and are supplied as a pair. Lauxes technical data lists thin caps for 14mm, 21mm, 23mm, 26mm and 35mm profile depths, with the 23mm cap sized for the 70mm Standard Floor Grate and the others for 100mm profiles.
When using Thin End Caps, cut the bottom tray 3mm shorter than the desired finished grate length. Apply neutral-cure silicone to the grate end, insert the caps and seal the outside of the tray, removing excess silicone.
End caps are finishing components only; they do not provide a waste connection or waterproofing. Match the end cap to the grate family, depth, width and finish before installation.
