Gripset C-Bed is a preblended, polymer-enhanced cementitious screed for creating floor levels, ramps, shower bases and falls before waterproofing or tiling. It combines graded aggregate, cement and performance modifiers in one bag, giving installers a consistent alternative to site-batched sand-and-cement screeds.

Broad build range
Gripset positions C-Bed for builds from approximately 5mm to 200mm, allowing the same product to handle relatively shallow corrections and substantial floor build-ups. It is designed to be ruled and shaped rather than flow level under its own weight.
Fast downstream work
In suitable conditions, waterproofing and tiling can proceed after the manufacturer-specified rapid cure period, commonly around 24 hours. Temperature, thickness, substrate moisture and ventilation affect real drying time, so confirm the next system layer against the current technical data.
Preparation and system selection
Substrates must be sound, clean and prepared for the chosen bonded or unbonded construction method. Gripset 11Y may be used in compatible cementitious bonding or modification applications where specified by Gripset, while damp substrates may require a suitable moisture-control system before the screed build.
