Corflute Protection Board is a lightweight 2mm corrugated polypropylene sheet for protecting waterproofing membranes and suitable finished surfaces while other construction work is taking place. Each sheet measures 1805mm × 1210mm and is easy to cut and position on site.
Choose Corflute where freshly installed waterproofing needs a sacrificial layer against everyday site handling, light scuffs and incidental contact during subsequent trades. It is useful as a temporary separation and protection sheet, rather than an additional waterproofing membrane.
Common applications
- Waterproofed walls and slabs: adding temporary protection ahead of subsequent finishes or site works.
- Retaining wall works: protecting compatible membrane systems during carefully controlled backfilling where the system permits this sheet.
- Floors and finished surfaces: helping reduce scuffing from light construction traffic and materials handling.
- General site protection: covering suitable work areas while adjacent trades finish their tasks.
Installation and selection
Cut panels to fit the surface and secure the edges or joins so they do not lift or shift. Check compatibility with the waterproofing system, and follow its protection and backfill requirements.
Corflute is not a structural load-spreading or engineered puncture-resistance board. Heavy impact, sharp aggregate or high backfill pressure may require a dedicated protection or drainage system. Available as individual sheets or a pack of 30.
