SA Contractors Silicone Sealant is a 100% acetic curing adhesive engineered for rapid-set glazing and industrial weatherproofing in high-exposure environments. Operating from -62°C to 180°C, this non-slump formula maintains structural integrity against intense UV radiation and temperature extremes in commercial shopfronts and HVAC units.

To prevent bond failure, degrease surfaces with white spirits or mechanical cleaning, avoiding soaps that interfere with adhesion. Ensure long-term joint flexibility by installing a polyethylene closed-cell foam rod to achieve the correct width-to-depth ratio and prevent three-sided adhesion. Bead the sealant into the joint and tool within a strict 5-minute window for a professional finish.

Note that this acetoxy system will chemically attack concrete, marble, and galvanized steel; for these substrates, a neutral cure alternative is required.
