Megapoxy E is suitable for casting electrical switchgear components and for mechanical and chemical resistant applications, offering excellent static and dynamic mechanical properties as well as superior electrical and dielectric properties.

Application Guide

  1. Mix Megapoxy E Part A with Hardener E for applications up to 80°C or with Hardener 155 for applications up to 150°C.
  2. Follow the mixing ratio by weight (Resin: 5:10, Hardener: 1:1) or by volume (Resin: 3:6, Hardener: 1:1).
  3. Ensure thorough mixing for uniformity and effectiveness.
  4. Apply the mixed epoxy to the desired components, allowing a minimum curing time of 24 hours at 25°C.
  5. If using Hardener 155, post-cure by slowly raising the temperature to 150°C.

Limitations

  • Not suitable for use at temperatures exceeding 150°C
  • Requires controlled curing conditions for optimal performance
