Everflex VBS is a high-performance, 2-part water-based epoxy designed for use as both a primer and vapour barrier. It is compatible with various substrates, including damp and green concrete. This product is perfect for waterproofing, sealing, and priming applications in construction, ensuring long-term performance and durability.

Application Guide

  1. Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free from contaminants.
  2. Mix part A and part B in equal volumes (1:1 ratio) until uniform in colour.
  3. Apply by brush or roller at a rate of 4-6 m² per litre.
  4. For highly porous substrates, apply a diluted coat as a primer before the full coat.
  5. Apply additional coats if needed after 2 hours or when touch-dry.
  6. Ensure a dry film thickness of at least 0.33mm for vapour barrier applications.

Limitations

  • Not suitable for metallic surfaces
  • Limited UV resistance; requires a UV-stable topcoat
  • Do not apply to surfaces with standing or flowing water
  • Not recommended for use as an exposed coating
