ABS bumper cracks are difficult to fix long-term without distortion or primer issues.
The syringe-format MMA applies quickly, cures fast, and holds under road vibration. Keep one in every glove box or mobile van.
Mixed materials can expand and flex with weather, causing cracking or de-bonding.
MMA adhesive flexes slightly while maintaining strength. Quick to apply with no mixing mess or cleanup.
Marine adhesives must resist salt, shock, and movement while working cleanly in tight spaces.
This MMA system fills gaps and sets in 10–12 minutes — no clamps or gun needed. Perfect for detail bonding in marine fit-outs.
It forms strong, permanent bonds to ABS, acrylic (PMMA), polycarbonate, fibreglass (GRP), rigid PVC, and many coated metals. It is not suitable for PE, PP, PTFE, or silicone rubber.
No gun needed — the product comes in a 28 g syringe with a static mixer tip. Simply push the plunger to apply; ideal for mobile or small-scale use.
You have approximately 3–6 minutes of working time before the adhesive begins to gel. After 10–12 minutes, it reaches handling strength.
Yes. Once cured, it’s highly resistant to moisture, UV, vibration, and salt exposure. It’s suitable for marine, exterior signage, and vehicle repairs.
Keep the syringe sealed and store it in a cool, dry place between 5–25 °C. Avoid heat and direct sunlight. Shelf life is up to 12 months unopened.

Clean all bonding surfaces thoroughly. Remove dirt, oil, grease, and surface oxidation. For best results, lightly abrade glossy plastics and metals, then clean with isopropyl alcohol.
Twist off the syringe cap. Attach the static mixing nozzle (provided) to ensure even 1:1 mixing of both adhesive components during application.
Push down on the syringe plunger to dispense the adhesive onto one surface. Apply a uniform bead and bring parts together immediately.
Align parts precisely and hold for 10–12 minutes until initial cure. Clamping is only required for heavy or misaligned components.
Allow 24 hours for full cure at room temperature. Avoid heavy loads or exposure to water during this period.
Ensure all bonding surfaces are clean, dry, and free from mould release agents, oils, and oxidation. Abrade with fine grit sandpaper if necessary and wipe with isopropyl alcohol for optimal adhesion.
Plastic Welding MMA has strong adhesion to ABS and PC substrates without primer in most applications.
—Remove any surface stress or oxidation using fine sanding and cleaning with solvent. Ensure surfaces are smooth and dry before bonding.
Plastic Welding MMA chemically bonds well to PMMA without priming under standard conditions.
—Wipe with a PVC-safe cleaner or isopropyl alcohol to remove surface plasticisers. Light abrasion may be beneficial for aged or gloss-finished PVC.
On flexible vinyls or high-plasticiser PVC, use a surface activator or test adhesion strength before full use.
Adheseal Vinyl ActivatorSand with 120–180 grit to remove gelcoat and roughen bonding surface. Clean thoroughly with acetone or isopropyl alcohol and ensure no moisture is present.
Plastic Welding MMA bonds directly to sanded fibreglass laminates without priming.
—Degrease with acetone, abrade with 80–120 grit for mechanical key, and clean again before application. Ensure surface is dry and free of rust or oxide layers.
Use Adheseal Metal Primer 601 for maximum bond reliability on bare metals or in high-load applications.
