HV Duct is a high-performance, single-component acrylic sealant specifically designed for sealing high-velocity air ducts and seams. It is non-slump, paintable, dust-proof, weather-proof, flexible, and offers excellent adhesion to most construction surfaces, including polystyrene foam. HV Duct has been fire tested to AS1530.3, achieving a Smoke Developed Index of 3, making it a safe and reliable choice for fire-rated applications.

Application Guide:
- Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from contaminants. Use a two-wipe process with a suitable cleaner/solvent for impervious substrates.
- Priming (Optional): If needed, apply Adheseal 50A primer (non-porous) or 2001 primer (porous) to joint areas.
- HV Duct Installation: Apply at temperatures between 5°C and 40°C. Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle, insert the cartridge into a caulking gun, and apply in a steady, continuous bead, ensuring good contact with both sides of the joint. Tool off with a moistened spatula within 5 minutes.
Limitations:
- Do not apply below 5°C
- Do not expose to continuous water flow
- Not suitable for wet or damp conditions, or totally confined spaces
- Not recommended for aquariums, adhering mirrors, structural glazing, composite panels, underwater applications, or below-grade applications
