Application Guide
- Surface Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, laitance, loose material, and other contaminants. Fill voids and repair damage before collar installation. Prime where required.
- Pipe Measurement & Collar Cutting: Measure the pipe or penetration diameter. Cut the central elastomeric zone to approximately 75% of the pipe diameter to ensure a snug fit.
- Bedding into Wet Membrane: Apply a liberal first coat of Gripset liquid membrane to the substrate around the penetration. While the membrane is still wet, position the collar over the pipe and press the fabric face into the membrane, ensuring there are no air pockets or wrinkles.
