EverKrete 2P Primer: Modified Polymer Primer and Vapour Barrier

EverKrete 2P Primer is a two-component, modified polymer primer designed for use as a penetrating bonding agent and vapour barrier for concrete and steel surfaces. It promotes adhesion to damp concrete, eliminates pinholes from outgassing, and can be applied over rusted steel to halt corrosion. This versatile primer is suitable for both internal and external applications, providing long-term durability.

Application Guide

  1. Ensure surfaces are sound, stable, clean, and free from contaminants.
  2. Combine equal parts of EverKrete 2P Primer Part A and Part B, and mix for two minutes.
  3. Apply the primer with a brush or roller, ensuring a smooth, thin coating.
  4. Let the primer dry to a tacky surface before applying EverKrete mortar on the same day.

Limitations

  • Do not apply below 5°C or above 35°C
  • Limited UV resistance; must be overcoated for long-term UV exposure
  • Avoid application on damp, wet, or contaminated surfaces
