The EverKrete Primer is a single-component, modified polymer primer designed for superior adhesion on concrete and steel. This product serves as a high-performance vapour barrier and bonding agent, enhancing the durability and resilience of concrete repair systems. Suitable for both internal and external applications, EverKrete Primer is the ideal choice for preventing pinholes, halting rust progression, and achieving reliable adhesion in various construction projects.

Key Features

  • Single-component, ready-to-use primer
  • Acts as a vapour barrier and prevents pinholes
  • Excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates
  • Fast-drying with a long tack time
  • Non-corrosive and low viscosity
  • Proven long-term durability and resilience

Suitable Substrates

  • Concrete (after a 28-day cure)
  • Sand cement screed (3:1 ratio)
  • Pre-cast concrete (after removing release agents)
  • Brickwork and aggregate blocks

Uses

  • Primer for EverKrete Concrete Repair Mortar

  • Minimises project downtime with fast drying

Application Guide

  1. Ensure surface is structurally sound, dry, clean, and free from contaminants.
  2. On porous substrates: apply with a brush or roller for a smooth, thin coat.
  3. For non-porous substrates, mechanical abrading is recommended to improve adhesion.
  4. Concrete must be cured for 28 days, and masonry/render for at least 4 days prior to application.

Limitations
