Application:
Primer WBP can be applied to a clean, dry, and sound substrate using a brush, broom, roller, or spray. One good coat at the rate of 4 sqm per liter is generally sufficient. However, significantly porous, friable, and dusty surfaces may require the application of a second coat. For best results, the subsequent membranes or coatings should be applied to the primed surface as soon as the primer is fully dried and before the surface can become contaminated. Ensure that the primed surface is clean and free from any contaminants. If the primed surface does become contaminated, clean and dry it before applying a further coat of Primer WBP.
Drying and Curing:
Drying and curing of the product are affected by the type, dryness, and porosity of the surface, temperature, humidity, ventilation, climate conditions, and application technique. Therefore, drying and curing can only be given as a guide. Leave to dry for 4 to 24 hours before the application of the waterproofing membrane.
Tiling, Topping or Top Coating:
Primer WBP is designed to be compatible with Adheseal water-based membranes. Do not directly stick tiles to this primer.
