Megapoxy CT5 is a premium compound proudly manufactured in Australia. Designed specifically for backfilling and encapsulating inductive detector loops, weigh-in-motion sensors, and Aircraft Landing Lights on both asphaltic and concrete roadways, it ensures reliable and efficient airport lighting installation.
This cold pour and applied liquid compound sets rapidly in all weather conditions, minimizing road and lane closure requirements. With its non-brittle and quick cure properties, Megapoxy CT5 offers exceptional long-term encapsulation performance, ensuring durability and reliability over time.
Featuring a simple mix ratio of 1:1 by volume, Megapoxy CT5 is easy to prepare for immediate use. Each kit contains Part "A" and Part "B," carefully measured in the correct mixing ratio. The black colour of Megapoxy CT5 blends seamlessly with the surroundings.
For high build and bulk applications, the addition of sand and aggregates can be utilized, as outlined on pages 2 of the product specifications. This allows for customized applications based on specific project requirements.
Megapoxy CT5 is formulated to adhere and cure under adverse conditions, including cold and damp environments. Its rapid setting properties ensure efficient installation even in challenging circumstances.
Size: 20 Litres Kit
Method of Use:
Measure out 1 volume of Part "A" and 1 volume of Part "B" of Megapoxy CT5. Place them into a clean mixing vessel, such as a plastic bucket.
Thoroughly stir the mixture for at least 3 minutes or until a uniform consistency is achieved. Scrape the sides and bottom of the mixing vessel to ensure complete mixing.
For optimal results, avoid splashing and air entrapment during the mixing process. Megapoxy CT5 should have a completely uniform and homogenous appearance, without any streaks.
To enhance flow control, add fine and dry epoxy quality sand gradually while mixing. Ensure thorough mixing until a uniform and homogenous consistency is achieved.
Note: Adding 1 liter of mixed resin and 1 liter of sand does not result in a total volume of 2 liters. Air voids in the sand account for approximately 40% of its volume, resulting in a smaller increment.
Megapoxy CT5 can be stored for long periods and is readily available throughout Australia. Its exceptional properties and ease of use make it the ideal choice for airport lighting installation projects.
