Compliant with AS-4858:2004 and AS4654.1 standards, it offers a durable, flexible, and seamless barrier that withstands exposure to water and UV radiation. Ideal for both internal and external uses, Everflex WPUV ensures long-term performance and environmental compliance with low VOC content, making it suitable for various substrates.

Key Features

  • Premium-grade, UV-resistant waterproof membrane
  • Single-component, ready to use
  • Rapid drying for earlier tiling
  • Non-toxic, low VOC, meets Green Star criteria
  • Micro-fibre reinforced for added strength
  • Flexible and seamless, does not re-emulsify when immersed in water
  • Compatible with a wide range of building materials
  • Tested to AS-4858:2004 and AS4654.1 standards
  • Suitable for internal and external applications

Suitable Substrates

  • Concrete (cured for 28 days)
  • 3:1 sand-cement screed or C-Bed
  • Masonry/render (cured for at least 4 days)
  • Cement sheeting, underlay, external weatherboard, and blue board
  • Pre-cast concrete (after release agent removal)
  • Wet area plasterboard/Villaboard
  • Timber flooring including structural plywood (Type A)
  • Brickwork, Hebel (aggregate block)

Uses

  • Exposed roofs and under pedestal systems
  • Wet areas, shower recesses, laundries, toilets, and kitchens
  • Patios, terraces, decks, and balconies
  • Under-tile waterproofing

Benefits

  • Resistant to UV exposure and biological growth
  • Withstands maintenance foot traffic
  • Easy water-based clean-up
  • Long-term durability and performance
  • Provides a high level of flexibility and tensile strength
  • Ensures a seamless and fully bonded membrane

Application Guide

  1. Prepare the surface: Ensure all surfaces are clean, stable, and free from contamination. Repair any cracks or deformities.
  2. Prime the substrate: Apply Everflex WBP for internal areas or Everflex VBS for external surfaces, following the primer's TDS instructions.
  3. Apply Everflex WPUV: Mix thoroughly, then apply the first coat using a brush or roller at a 0.75mm wet film thickness. Allow drying before applying a second coat at right angles to the first.
  4. Ensure a minimum of two coats for a total dry film thickness (DFT) of 1mm. More coats may be needed depending on surface conditions.
  5. Wait for a minimum curing time of 48 hours at 25°C and 50% humidity before tiling or other finishes.

Limitations

  • Not suitable for use below 10°C or above 35°C
  • Should not be applied to wet, damp, or contaminated substrates
  • Not suitable for areas with negative hydrostatic pressure or rising damp
  • Foot traffic should be limited to maintenance levels
