Buzon PB-KIT-5 fixes timber or composite deck joists to Buzon PB pedestals. It takes joists up to 100 mm wide and helps you build a raised external deck at the required height.
Fit it only to a compatible PB pedestal and joist. It is for external pedestrian decks. Do not use it for vehicles or vibrating machinery.
What joist size fits PB-KIT-5?
Current product guidance specifies a minimum joist height of 30 mm and a maximum joist width of 100 mm.
Buzon PB-KIT-5 joist holder for supporting timber or compatible subframes on PB pedestal systems.
Current product guidance accommodates joists with a minimum height of 30 mm and maximum width of 100 mm.
The holder provides lateral location for the joist while the pedestal carries the raised-floor support point.
Fit PB-KIT-5 to the compatible PB pedestal head and seat the joist in the holder.
Align the subframe and secure the joist/holder using the Buzon fixing detail required for the assembly.
Complete pedestal spacing and joist restraint in accordance with the deck design.

Maximum 100 mm joist width and minimum 30 mm joist height apply to the published holder geometry.
Joist span, fixing, timber species and finished deck loading must still be designed for the project.
