A chalk line for setting datum lines on floors and walls before tiling or laying out work. Snap a line where the grid starts and every tile or panel keys off one mark instead of drifting a few millimetres a row.

Fix the hook at one end, run the line taut to the mark, lift and snap. Check the line against your datum before each run. Refill through the sealed port with line chalk.
