High Power 609 is a one-component, elastomeric MS adhesive/sealant offering instant grab within 1 second, making it highly versatile for bonding and sealing applications. It provides excellent adhesion on a wide range of substrates, including wood, glass, metals, and plastics, even on damp surfaces. This high-performance adhesive is easy to apply and dries quickly while remaining flexible, making it suitable for use in industrial, construction, marine, and automotive industries.

Application Guide
- Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are structurally sound, clean, dry, and free of contaminants. For non-porous substrates, slightly roughen the surface and clean with an appropriate solvent like white spirit. For porous substrates like concrete, prime with Everflex Supaprime for optimal adhesion.
- Application: Apply High Power 609 using a triangular nozzle. Ensure the adhesive is at least 2mm thick. Place the item on the adhesive while wet, and press firmly to ensure optimal contact. For heavier materials, mechanical support may be required until the adhesive cures sufficiently.
- Cure Time: Skin forms within 10 minutes, and the adhesive cures at a rate of 2mm per 24 hours. Full cure depends on environmental conditions.
- Clean-Up: Clean tools and spills with white spirit while the product is still wet. Cured adhesive must be removed mechanically.
Limitations
- Not suitable for confined spaces where atmospheric humidity is inaccessible
- Not recommended for aquariums or structural glazing
- Avoid contact with uncured polyurethanes during curing
- Increased drying time for alkyd resin-based paints
