For outdoor raised floors on terraces, pool decks, water features, landscape areas, and rooftops, the Buzon DPH-5 Adjustable Pedestal (100-175mm) provides stable, level support over sloping or irregular substrates. Featuring an integrated slope corrector in the head, this three-piece system compensates for falls from 0% to 5% in 0.5% intervals, eliminating the need for separate slope-correcting shims beneath the base.
The DPH-5 supports external finishing materials—including granite stone pavers, ceramic tiles, timber or composite decking, and fibreglass or metal grating—directly over concrete slabs, cement screeds, waterproof membranes, and insulation panels. Made from copolymer polypropylene containing approximately 80% recycled material and 20% talc, the pedestal withstands weathering, sea salts, algae, and a wide range of chemicals in exposed environments. The broad 200 mm base distributes the load across 314 cm² to protect delicate waterproofing membranes and insulation boards from puncture or compression failure.
Buzon pedestals are designed to support external raised floors for pedestrian traffic only. They are not designed to support and must not be subjected to moving or vibrating machinery, cleaning and maintenance vehicles, automobiles, or similar heavy mechanical equipment.
