Application Guide
- Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free of contaminants.
- Prime porous surfaces (e.g., concrete) with Everflex Supaprime for optimal adhesion.
- Use a backing rod or bond breaker tape to control joint depth and prevent three-sided adhesion.
- Apply the sealant using a sausage gun at a temperature between 5°C and 40°C.
- Tool the sealant immediately for a smooth finish before it skins over (approximately 30-40 minutes).
- Allow curing at a rate of 3mm per 24 hours under standard conditions (25°C, 50% RH).
Limitations
- Not suitable for confined spaces without atmospheric humidity
- Unsuitable for aquariums or internal swimming pool applications
- Avoid use on copper, brass, or EPDM rubber surfaces
- Not compatible with bituminous substrates
- Avoid applying on substrates with moisture-vapour transmission
